Concept Works



Mystic Worlds
Modeling, Texturing, Lighting, Final Composite in Photoshop.

Well took almost a week to complete it..
its inspired from some concept art i got from internet.
but still diffrnt from it.

modelling is not tht detail.. but look n feel was more important for me.
used displacement map to get d more realistic feel of mountain
lighting n rendering.... i used mental ray render... because of heavy light photon count
i took out passes of each object.
(my machine was not tht powerful n render time was pain in d A**)the composited n color corrected in Photoshop


The Lane

I was having this picture of the lane, somewhere actually there.. in some corner of d world
That picture fascinated me so much that i decided to make a 3D visual of it.
again... my aim was to make it as realistic as i can.

many people ask me why that red bright new looking signboard is there...
ohh ya...

i just wanted it there.. :P

model in Maya, rendered in Mentalray, took out some passes, Spec, Diff, Zdepth, Occ. Etc.
composite n color corrected in Photoshop.

Sci-fi things alien stories are always my hot favorite..
i wanted to create my own sci-fi artwork.

so i started sketching n making random shapes in Maya.

i Thought of creating alien power core or reactor and a city around it.
in the beginning i was planning to put it on some hill top.
but then i thought it will be cool to put it on island n get some cool reflections.
once finished i wanted to give it a different name.. n i searched for it..
for me it was a advance race on some alien plant.
modeled in maya.. render in mentalray. some passes.
Composite n color corrected in Photoshop.
 
The Richter

When Tsunami struck coasts of india.. n left devastating impact.
i kept hearing about the magnitude n Richter scale of earth quack.
i was wondering that how Richter Scale looks so. i gathered some Ref. Images...

in my artwork i wanted to show a big magnitude earth quake happening on scale.
usually there are one or two pins are there which create graph when it measures the movement in ground....

here i showed many pins showing high magnitude quake. i wanted to it look a bit dark.

thats why final composite is a black n white.
